Recently, our focus has been on overhauling a fundamental part of the experience: the initial connection between your website and the Drop Print platform. We know that in the past, setting up this link could sometimes feel a little cumbersome. Based on the valuable dialogue we’ve had with many of you, we realised the process needed a fresh look.
Say Goodbye to Clunky Connections!
We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve rolled out a completely revamped connection process. Gone are the days of needing to manually copy and paste codes or follow complex steps. Our aim was simple: make connecting your WordPress site to Drop Print quick, secure, and straightforward.
Now, when you install the Drop Print plugin, initiating the connection is as simple as:
Clicking the “Connect Account” button within your WordPress admin area.
Securely logging into (or registering for) your Drop Print account on our site (api.drop-print.com).
That’s it! Our systems handle the secure handshake in the background, and you’ll be automatically redirected back to your WordPress dashboard, fully connected and ready to go.
This new, smoother flow not only improves the initial user experience but also establishes a more robust and secure foundation for communication between your website and our print service.

This streamlined connection is just one part of our ongoing commitment to improvement. Securely linking your site is vital, as it paves the way for future enhancements. On that note, we’re currently deep in development on a significant update focused squarely on file handling security. We understand the immense value of the print-ready files you entrust to the process, and we’re preparing new measures that will offer unprecedented peace of mind – more details on that very soon!
We also know many of you utilise Etsy for your sales. We appreciate your patience whilst the “Login With Etsy” feature has been temporarily unavailable during our recent upgrades. We’re pleased to confirm that work is actively underway to reinstate and improve the Etsy integration, making it easier than ever for Etsy sellers to manage their Drop Print workflow.
