It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating the public beta launch of the Drop Print Plugin! The past three months have been a whirlwind of development, driven by your invaluable feedback and our ambition to make Drop Print the definitive tool for artists and galleries looking to sell high-quality giclée prints globally.

Today, I’m excited to share some significant news: we are rolling out a comprehensive update to the Drop Print Plugin, featuring a completely redesigned user interface (UI). This isn’t just a minor tweak; it’s a fundamental refresh aimed at making the plugin even more intuitive, efficient, and enjoyable to use.

Now, I understand that a significant UI change can sometimes feel a little jarring, and for that, I sincerely apologise if the initial transition causes any disruption to your workflow. Our goal with this redesign is to ultimately provide a smoother and more streamlined experience, especially as we continue to add new features and functionalities. We believe this new interface will lay a much stronger foundation for the future growth of Drop Print.

To help you navigate this exciting new look and feel, we’ve created a comprehensive video tutorial that walks you through all the key changes and new features. This video should be in your registered email inbox right now, so please take a few moments to check it out at your convenience. We’ve tried to cover everything you need to know to get up and running with the updated plugin seamlessly.

This update also takes into account some of the exciting advancements introduced in WordPress 6.6. We’ve been particularly keen to leverage some of the underlying improvements to enhance the plugin’s performance and integration within the WordPress ecosystem.

However, while this UI update is a significant step forward, it’s important to acknowledge that we still have plenty of hurdles to overcome before we can officially launch Drop Print out of beta. We are committed to ensuring a robust and reliable plugin, and that means rigorous testing, refining our backend infrastructure, and continuing to listen intently to your feedback. Your patience and continued support during this phase are incredibly valuable.
